Every cleaner verifies their identity with a government ID check before their profile can go live.
🛡 Enhanced DBS
We record and review enhanced DBS (criminal record) checks. A verified DBS badge shows on the cleaner's profile.
📄 Public liability insurance
We ask cleaners for proof of public-liability insurance and track its expiry, so cover stays current.
✅ Right to work
We confirm each cleaner has the right to work in the UK.
📞 References
Cleaners provide references from previous clients or employers, held on file.

Only a customer with a completed, paid booking can leave a review — so ratings reflect real cleans.
Secure payment, always through CleanerConnect
Pay through the platform — never in cash off-app. Your payment is processed securely and the cleaner is paid out after the clean. Keeping payments on CleanerConnect means you're covered by our support and dispute process if something goes wrong.
Your address stays private
Cleaners only see your address once you've confirmed a booking with them. Profiles show the area a cleaner covers and an approximate distance — never an exact address.
